A Secret New Sci-Fi Disney Script

Damon Lindelof, one of the master brains behind confuse-a-thon TV drama Lost and a regular collaborator and friend of J.J. Abrams, has just sold a new script pitch to Disney. But aside from the fact that it’s called "1952", nothing much has leaked out about it.

Who knows what the project will be about, but Lindelof and enigmatic numbers always make for an interesting combination.

Apparently Lindelof held several meetings with big bosses at Disney and worked out a deal for an original, large-scale science fiction project that will not just become a movie, but has been planned as a cross-platform item.

Coincidentally?, German rocket scientist and former member of the Nazi party,  Wernher Von Braun published the first in his series of articles entitled Man Will Conquer Space Soon!, including ideas for manned flights to Mars and the Moon, on the 22nd of March 1952.
