Fashion Meets Death At Body Show

Fashion merged with death at a catwalk show in Berlin, in which sultry models strutted alongside preserved animal and human corpses.

Controversial anatomist and plastinator Gunther von Hagens is showing some of his most famous works in the Body Worlds - A matter of the heart exhibition at the Postbahnhof until August.

The exhibition - featuring an inside look at more than 200 human specimans including full bodies, organs and body slices - proved a unique backdrop to the dark-themed fashion show of Armenian designer Edward Howhannisjan.

Karin Elisabeth Dreijer Andersson (lead vocalist in Honey Is Cool, The Knife and Fever Ray) talks in interviews how her inspiration to make music is drawn from exploring and accessing the darkest recesses of her mind.

... but it has been done before ... The original dress that Lady Gaga's shocking outfit was based on.

Plagiarism, or a continuation of a long-term plan of predictive programming, mind control, degradation, dehumanization and depopulation agenda?

Karl Lagerfeld released a rather interesting statement about the untimely passing of fashion designer Alexander McQueen.  He writes:

“I found his work very interesting and never banal.  There was always some attraction to death, his designs were sometimes dehumanised. Who knows, perhaps after flirting with death too often, death attracts you.”
